CHAPSTICK!!! (:

    An invention I would invent is the Chapstick!! Nobody likes their lips all chapped and stuff! When your lips are chapped, they hurt and look all gross looking. Especially in the winter time, they get worse! There would be many different kinds of chapstick!

  

   There would probably be many ways to make the chapstick, but mainly it would be made of whale fat. To make it, you would put all the mixture together and then cool it and cut it! After you cool it and cut it everything you just rub it on your lips and they will eventually heal! (:

   Without the chapstick, I'm not sure what we would use because the chapstick is like amazing! If we didn't have chapstick, out lips would probably be really bad and all chapped and odd looking,  think! It is an easy way to make you feel somewhat better!

   

   I will be using vertical integration. I would make the chapstick in my own little factory. I would ship out my products to stores all around the world! (: I think chapstick will sell very well because who likes chapped lips? Like no one likes chapped lips! So i think people will definitely buy this product!! (:

Laptops...

I like the fact that we now have these lovely laptops because we can now get our homework done at home if it requires a computer. Since its the school's server, we can do all of our work on this laptop. These laptops are an advantage for us because now we don't have to wait until school to get an assignment done on the computer, we can just do it from home. I like the fact that we can put music and pictures on the laptops. I also like that we can change our own backgrounds to whatever we want as long as its appropriate. I think that when we are home we should be able to get on other websites such as Facebook. I also see why they don't want us to be on Facebook and other websites similar to that during school. Some kids act immature and do inappropriate things so I understand why they don't allow us to get to those sites. I think these laptops are a good idea and I think they are going to be very useful.

Help Wanted: Ranchers

Help is needed on our ranch. Since the Native Americans have been removed, buffalo have become extinct in the area leaving a lot of land for ranching. There is so much land for ranching now, we need help. We need to move cattle from Texas to Montana. It is a 1,000 mile cattle drive with 700 head of cattle. We aren't sure how long it will take to get from Texas to Montana, but we need help doing it! We pay $1.75 per head. There is going to be many different weather conditions and rough ground along the way. If you want to help us out on this trip, we pay well! Please Help!

Reconstruction of the South

The reconstruction of the South began after the Civil War ended. The South was for slavery, while the North was against it. When the Civil War was over, the South was mad because African Americans began to gain their rights back. They no longer had to do slave labor for whites. There were many people in the South that were upset with this change. Some people went too far with this issue. Six men created a group called the "Ku Klux Klan" as known as the "KKK." Many African Americans were killed by this group.

Once the African Americans gained all their rights back, they could now have citizenship, vote, hold office, go to school, and own property. Even though they got their rights back, women were still not as equal as men. Women still had to try to gain as many rights as the men had.

Since many farms were destroyed in the South from the reconstruction, many had to be redone and fixed. It took them a while to get them redone. The North had little to no fixing up. The North was fighting for the African Americans to get their rights and they succeeded. When the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments were passed, everyone was treated equal and still are today.
